MPHCA’s board of directors and staff are very proud of our
legacy and join with the National Association of Community Health
Centers (NACHC) in marking this, the 50th Anniversary Year of

Today, 21 CHCs operate more than 170 delivery sites across the state providing comprehensive, primary care services to almost 300,000 folks, accounting for almost 1 million visits, annually. Over the past 50 years, the Health Centers Program has grown into the nation’s largest primary care network consisting of more than 1,200 health centers delivering care through over 9,000 delivery sites in every state and territory. This is a historic time for America’s and Mississippi’s health centers as we continue the fight for access and stake out a new claim of leadership to set the standard for the primary care medical home of the future. Our enduring aim is to ensure that the health center mission, not only survives but thrives well into the future. Again, MPHCA welcomes your participation in our conference during this historic and jubilant time and thanks you for your continued support of health centers!
