CHIP Outreach Project
Through federal funds provided via the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), MPHCA is working with member health centers to increase health insurance coverage for Mississippi children. Community Outreach Specialists (COS) have been placed within health centers statewide to provide application assistance with Mississippi Medicaid and CHIP (Children's Health Insurance Program).
